Enjoy These Easy AF Apple Pie Oats

Winter is here, we’re living indoors, and the motivation to snack, unlike motivation to exercise, is at an all time high. But before you reach for the biscuit tin for the third time this hour, spend 10 minutes whipping up a healthy dose of fibre, protein and carbs designed to satiate you longer and cater to your sweet tooth. Introducing you to Apple Pie Oats, a simple recipe created by the editor of Australian Women’s Health, Jacqui Mooney.



  1. Add 1 cup of milk to your oats in a microwave safe bowl and put in the microwave on high for 90 seconds.

  2. Slice your apple and sauté in a splash of water, adding a teaspoon of butter at the end to caramelise.

  3. Place sautéed apples on your freshly cooked oats, adding sultanas, cinnamon, honey and macadamias on top to tast.

  4. Yes, it’s that easy, this isn’t even a step. 3 steps just felt TOO easy.
